Dakar Dag's Guide comes in the form of a (free) PDF guide
that is updated with new information whenever he damn
well feels like it. If you'd like to get a feel for what
the guide looks like without downloading the whole thing,
try one or more of the following 'sample chapters'. They
are free too. So are the pictures on the Photos page.
Enjoy!
This is it! The first volume of the guide. Enjoy! (and
feel free to drop a dime or two in our donation bucket
if you do).
The much anticipated second volume of the Guide!
A great ride from Peach Springs north into the Grand
Canyon. If you don't like this, then sell your bike.
A friend is someone who will bail you out of jail in
the middle of then night. A real friend is sitting next
to you saying “Goddam, was that fun or
what!”
Bloody Basin: I do not know how Bloody Basin Rd. Got
it’s name but it couldn’t be good. Both
times I have attempted this road, I broke something.
The gas tank was leaking quickly from multiple bullet
holes, and I had to stop to pull an arrow out of my
left arm. The situation was starting to get
interesting.
Not part of the guidebook, but a description of three
days at the RawHyde Adventure training camp near
Castaic, California. May or may not contain photos of
scantily-clad models on motorcycles.
Some background material on the mysterious Dakar Dag.
