Dakar Dag is a mythological
figure who scours the mountains and deserts in search of
great places to ride.
Legend has it that he is about 39 years of age, rides a BMW
that is way to much bike for him, falls down a lot,
can’t pick a line for shit, and drinks a lot after
being frightened, which happens often.
Basically his riding skills suck. Anyway, he is thought to
be about 40 pounds overweight, with thinning hair, golden
tan and wears glasses most of the time. A real babe magnet.
Sometimes he is accompanied by his dog “No
Dammit”.
A long time ago, in a place far, far away, he was known as
“Mr. Wonderful” for reasons ... well...never
mind.
Dakar Dag got his name not because he rode in the famous
Paris Dakar rally but because he bought a Dakar. In short,
Dakar Dag is a joke (at least to those who have claimed to
have seen him).
